Notes on exit conditions:

  1. RF diagnositcs and loops

    • Transverse damper and feedback equipment tested and commissioned with beam, closing the loop etc. at earliest possible in in phase A.4

  2. Injection protection

    • The TDI is moved in to avoid D1 quenches in case of injection failures. The setting is roughly ~ 10 sigma, according to the available optics information (measured or nominal). Accuracy of setting up is not an issue. Gap: rather larger than too small.

  3. Orbit/tune/coupling feedbacks

    • Attempt to make feedbacks operational. Full commissioning not strictly required at this stage, but recommended to speed up setting up of collimators in the next phase and ramp commissioning later on.
